The 110 year-old palace will open as the 109-room (including 40 suites), Shangri-La Hotel Paris. Located near the Trocadero in the prestigious 16th arrondissement, the building will have some of Paris’ finest views of the River Seine and the Eiffel Tower.

This wonderful landmark was formerly the residence of Napoleon Bonaparte's grand nephew, Roland Bonaparte. The stunning building was home to Elsie de Wolf, Gustave Eiffel, Balzac, as well as Benjamin Franklin. The hotel is walking distance of some of Paris'leading museums and landmarks.
The expected opening date is 2010.

The Shangri-La Eiffel Suite, a 2153 square foot of pure luxury including a private terrace, nestles at the top of the house, overlooking Paris and its monuments, with a breathtaking “reach out and touch” view of the Eiffel Tower.

Originally Roland Bonaparte’s private apartment, the 2960 square foot “Imperial Suite” offers an inimitable atmosphere with exceptional high ceilings, tall windows and original ornate mouldings.
